The Horned Goddess, from her lofty perch, witnessed the encroaching darkness. It was a sinister force, a blight upon the land, spreading like a venomous tendril. Her heart ached for her people, her beloved subjects and with a heavy sigh, she descended from her tower. Her form shifted, the queenly facade melting away to reveal the monstrous dragon beneath. Scales shimmered, claws extended, and eyes glowed with ancient power. She soared into the sky, a dark silhouette against the encroaching darkness.
