My ears would 
Cry if they could,
But that task is left to my eyes
And to my surprise
A single tear
Haven’t felt this embrace
In over a year
Upon this crystal face
My mirror placed
In front of my nose 
The door that I keep locked
And closed
Protection from the outside

A moment in time 
A fraction of forever
